God's Work

Brian and I are both in agreement . . . the Big Island is Hawaiian heaven.

This island is so different then Oahu, the two can hardly be compared. A woman who we talked to yesterday told us that she thinks God made this island with his own two hands because of its beauty and uniqueness. It truly is an amazing place.

Right now we are staying in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in a small cozy cabin. There is a fire crackling in the fire place (as it's easily in the 50's outside), I've got a warm cup of hot cocoa, and the kids are asleep. It just doesn't get much better than this.

Today we explored the park top to bottom, saw some pretty phenomenal landscapes, took the kids bowling for the first time, ate some yummy Thai food, and now we are all worn out. Tomorrow we have to leave this beautiful place, but we will be exploring much more of the island and will have the chance to stay at a nice resort for a couple nights.

A couple of you have emailed me, asking me if we are having a good time. The simple answer? THE BEST.
