Charley's monologue to Zander while riding in the jogging stroller today:

"So Zander, the planet Earth is all around us, and space is way up in the sky, past the planet Earth. And God lives in space, somewhere on another planet, one that does not have any aliens on it. But even if there were aliens, they would probably be nice ones, because if we are nice to them, they will be nice to us. So we should treat them how we want them to treat us. But all aliens look different. Some have long slanted eyes, some have eyes on their antlers, some are tall, some are skinny, and some might even look scary.....but that doesn't mean they ARE scary, they just look that way, because aliens are only mean if we are mean to them. But they live way up in space and we live here on Earth. And we have to be good to our planet Earth, and keep it clean and pick up garbage, or else planet Earth will become very sick. So we have to take really good care of it and follow all the rules. Not like the rules where we have to be nice to Mom and Dad. Those rules are ones that come from Mom and Dad only. Planet earth's rules are different because it means we have to be nice to Earth, not Mom and Dad. So we have to make sure to keep Earth clean and recycle and pick up any garbage we see so that it won't become too sick. Okay Zander?"
